ISO Containers: Ethanol in ISO containers on FOB as well as CFR/CIF basis. One 20’ ISO container can load approx 18.5 – 20 MT of ethanol.

FCL: Ethanol in new plastic and steel drums (Plastic 210 and 250 liters and Steel 210 L) and load it in 20’or 40’ dry container. One 20’ container can load around 13.52 MT of ethanol for 210 L drums and 15.76 MT for 250 L drums (80 drums are loaded in one container).

Applications:

• Used as a motor fuel and gasoline additive.
• Used as an important industrial ingredient and as a base chemical for other organic compounds.
• Used in medical wipes and in most common antibacterial hand sanitizer gels
• Being miscible with water, it is used as solvent in paints, varnishes, tinctures, markers and personal care products such as perfumes, deodorants, glass cleaning liquids.
• Used as a solvent to dissolve other substances for consumption or use by humans.
• Used as a preservative for biological specimens.
