Product Description

  • Instructions:
    1. Open the fire hydrant door and take out the hose and water cannon.
    2. Check if the hose and connector are good. If it is damaged, it is strictly forbidden to use.
    3. Lay the hose in the direction of the fire to avoid kinking.
    4. Connect the water hose to the fire hydrant.Insert the connecting buckle into the chute accurately and tighten it clockwise.
    5. Connect the other end of the hose to the water cannon (same connection procedure with the fire hydrant).
    6. At least 2 people need to hold the water cannon and align it with the fire (water cannon can not be against people in case high pressure water would get people hurt).
    7. Slowly open the hydrant valve to the maximum and align with the fire.
    8. When connecting the fire hose connection, the fire hose should be covered with a soft protective material and then tightened with galvanized iron wire or hose clamp.
    9. Use of fire hoses. When using fire-fighting water hoses, the high-pressure-resistant fire hose should be connected close to the water pump. The water hose after water filling should avoid twisting, and should prevent collision damage at the fire hose interface.
    10. Fire hose laying. Avoid sharp objects and oil when laying fire hoses. When laying the fire hose vertically to the height, use the fire hose hook; when laying the fire hose through the traffic lane, the fire hose should be placed with hose protectors; When passing through the railway, the fire hose shall pass under the track to prevent the fire hose from being crushed by the wheel and the intermittent water supply.
    11. Prevent icing. In the severe winter season, when the water supply needs to be suspended on the fire, in order to prevent the fire hose from freezing, the pump needs to run slowly and keep a small amount of water.
    12. Fire hose cleaning. After the fire hose is used, it should be cleaned. The fire hose for conveying foam must be carefully scrubbed to protect the rubber layer. In order to remove the grease from the fire hose, it can be washed with warm water or soap; for the frozen fire hose, first melt it, then wash and dry. Fire hoses that are not dry should not be stored in a roll.
    The purpose of fire hoses is mainly for water delivery.
