Founded in 1943, the company produced internal combustion engine beginning in 1953. In 1997, Laidong and China Huayuan Group established Shandong Huayuan Laidong Internal Combustion Engine Co., Ltd. As a joint venture. In June 1998, Huayuan Kama Limited liability Company become listed. Laidong become its subsidiary. In April 2008, Huayuan Kama was acquired by China Hengtian Group. Laidong become the third level subsidiary Group. The company has a registered capital of 193 million Yuan, the total existing assets of 870 million Yuan, covering an area of over 290, 000 square meters.
